Narrative
SPRINGDALE, AR – Two men in their 20s were killed when their disabled vehicle was hit by another car east of Beaver Lake on Thursday.
Police say 23-year-old Matthew Olinger was driving northbound on Highway 412 when his Toyota Corolla crashed, blocking the roadway.
Olinger’s passenger, Noah Caldwell, 24, then got out of the vehicle to check on the driver when a Volvo slammed into the Toyota. Both Caldwell and Olinger suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.
It is unclear whether the Volvo’s driver was hurt.
