LITTLE ROCK, AR – One person sustained fatal injuries Friday when a vehicle struck them along the interstate in central Pulaski County.
The accident occurred sometime in the morning on the eastbound side of I-30 near exit 135 to West 65th Street in southwest Little Rock.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause or circumstances of the collision. It’s unclear if the victim was walking on or along the roadway when the car hit them.
Authorities are waiting to notify next of kin before releasing the name of the victim to the public.
While police haven’t disclosed any information concerning the driver involved in the crash, they also haven’t referred to the incident as a hit and run.
Motorists likely experienced delays along I-30 eastbound Friday morning while emergency crews responded to the scene.
