Narrative
GREENE CO., AR – Two teenagers lost their lives and a man sustained serious injuries in a tragic head-on collision near Mena on Friday.
The incident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Dec. 15 at the intersection of State Highway 351 and County Road 721.
Arkansas State Police revealed that a 2003 Ford traveling east failed to yield at a stop sign, colliding with a 2024 Dodge driven by 39-year-old Bradley Harris of Paragould. The impact caused the Ford to overturn and catch fire, making it challenging to identify the occupants.
The victims were later confirmed as an 11th grader and a 12th grader from Greene County Tech High School. Harris was airlifted to Regional One Health Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis with severe injuries.
