Narrative

GREENE COUNTY, AR – A 45-year-old man operating a 2011 Ford hydroplaned and hit a 23-year-old woman driving a 2008 Mazda head-on on Highway 135, leading to her death Monday. 

This collision happened before 3:45 p.m. South. The woman, Erica Edwards, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene, while the 45-year-old man — Paul Barrett — was transported to NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro for unspecified wounds.
