INDEPENDENCE CO., AR – Two people were sent to the hospital following a 4-vehicle pin-in crash involving multiple concrete mixer trucks near Locust Grove on Friday.
According to the Batesville Fire Department, the incident unfolded around 2 p.m. on Heber Springs Road, when two concrete commercial vehicles and two passenger cars collided.
Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens confirmed that injuries were sustained in the accident, with two individuals requiring immediate medical attention as they were transported to a nearby hospital.
