Narrative
WASHINGTON CO., AR – A 37-year-old died, and another person went to the hospital this past Tuesday after a solo crash along the highway in Washington County.
The accident happened just after 7:30 p.m. along AR-265. Officials have not yet provided a cross street for the accident.
Police say that the driver of a Chevrolet Sonic lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve, left the highway, and crashed into a tree.
The passenger in the car, identified as Coly Linn, died at the scene.
Medics transported the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Officials say that wet road conditions were likely a factor in the accident.
